Evidence
An essential component of teaching is the understanding of the central concepts and subject matter. Without the knowledge of subject, students would not have meaningful experiences in the classroom and learning would be devalued in society. I am always willing to grow in my knowledge of the subject I teach because I want students to have meaningful experiences in school. I also incorporate this knowledge into my instructional plans to create lessons in which students can excel. I constantly evaluated my knowledge of English Language and Literature to create learning experiences for all students. Please look at my Thematic Units page. I believe my units adequately show my knowledge of the subject and the transfer of this knowledge to my daily instruction.
